May is National Osteoporosis Prevention Month. Osteoporosis is a disease of the bones causing them to become weak and easily broken. According to the American College of Physicians (ACP) osteoporosis affects nearly 55% of Americans 50 years of age or older.
April is National Cancer Control Month, and we want to discuss ways you can prevent and control oral cancer. It is estimated that over 43,250 Americans will be diagnosed with oral cancer each year1. Many could have been prevented this by cutting back on or quitting smoking and heavy alcohol use, but you can do more to prevent a cancer diagnosis.
